Islington Council in their infinite wisdom are imposing the Random testing part of their Drugs and Alcohol Policy as of tomorrow, December 1st.
However, there will be no random testing until 1st March 2017.
Islington have yet to contract out the testing to a company, though we suspect it will be Randox.
The Council are still unclear as to which posts are safety critical. This means discussions will continue with Health and Safety.
Unfortunately the lead person from HR involved in discussions so far is no longer with us.
