The Islington UNISON open day earlier today was a huge success.
Over 100 staff, members and friends attended including the Mayor of Islington, retired UNISON member, Councillor Barry Edwards. There were also friends from other trade unions such as the NUT and the Trades Council who attended as well as Labour Councillors.
Thanks are owed to Lisa, our office manager for all the tremendous hard work, as well as Rosemary Plummer who organised invitations to all the schools in the Borough.
We will be posting a fuller report and some photographs over the weekend so keep your eyes open.
