This Branch Committee of Islington UNISON, meeting on Thursday 7th July 2016 expresses its support for Jeremy Corbyn MP as leader of the Labour Party.
Jeremy has always supported our members in their struggles and shown solidarity to our branch-whether NUPE/NALGO or UNISON since he was elected as MP for Islington North in 1983.
This Branch Committee calls on UNISON nationally and the Greater London Region to continue to support Jeremy Corbyn MP as Leader of the Labour Party and in the event of a future leadership election to support Jeremy Corbyn MP for leader.
